What makes it worth it – and what doesn’t
The location is fantastic, just a stone's throw from numerous restaurants! Comfortable beds ensured a restful night, and the staff was welcoming and helpful.
While amenities like the gym were decent, the room décor felt outdated and could use a refresh! Shower over bathtub arrangement was less than ideal.

The carpet is threadbare, the bathroom lacks necessary amenities like an extractor fan, and the amenities weren't restocked properly!!! A clearer layout for the heater controls would also be a nice touch. it feels outdated.

The room was spacious, but the bathroom could use an update as it had a shower over a bathtub which was a bit tricky for my elderly father. We truly enjoyed the variety of dining options available within the complex. The location was excellent, with many attractions like the Dunedin Chinese Garden and the Otago Museum just a short walk away, making it convenient to explore the area during our stay.

Staying in the Standard King Room was a treat! The view was incredible, and the bed was super comfy, making it easy to relax after a long day. I loved that there were extra plugs for my laptop, and the gym facilities were a nice bonus. Reception was always helpful whenever I had a question. Only wish some parts looked a bit more updated. But overall, it was a really good stay!
